It’s amazing to think that three decades have passed since the release of the holiday classic, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. To mark this milestone, we’re checking in with the cast to see what they’ve been up to since their iconic performances.

1. Marvin Merchants played by Daniel Stern

At 65 years old, actor Stern has maintained a thriving career. In 2023, he will appear in season 4 of the sci-fi hit For All Mankind. He is also well-known for narrating the beloved series The Wonder Years from 1988 to 1993.

At 68 years old, O’Hara has played several notable roles since her iconic portrayal as Kevin’s mom. Notably, from 2015 to 2020, she starred in the TV series Schitt’s Creek as a washed-up soap opera actress, a performance that won her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

At 45 years old, Ratray has taken on numerous roles since his portrayal as Kevin’s big brother in the Home Alone movies. He has appeared in popular TV shows such as Law & Order and Supernatural, and even became a regular on MTV’s reality series Damage Control.

5. Mr. Hector, the Plaza concierge, played by Tim Curry

At 76 years old, Curry’s life took a drastic turn when he suffered a major stroke in 2012, resulting in his reliance on a wheelchair and the need for physical and speech therapy. Since then, the actor has mainly focused on voice acting, but he still sings and makes appearances at fan conventions.

At 79 years old, Pesci ended his retirement a few years ago to star in the 2019 movie The Irishman, a performance that earned him an Oscar nomination. Unlike other cast members, Pesci was already an established actor, largely due to his role in the popular 1990 film Goodfellas. He gained further fame for his role in Home Alone.

At 81 years old, Bamman has continued to act in movies and TV series following his iconic role as Uncle Frank in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. However, it remains his most famous performance to date. Bamman’s last known acting credit was in 2015, in the TV series The Following.

8. Fuller, played by Kieran Culkin

Kieran, the real-life younger brother of Macaulay, is now 40 years old and is steadily building a successful acting career. One of his recent and most notable performances was in the TV series Succession. He has been married since 2013, and he and his wife have two children, a boy, and a girl.
